Toevallig had ik contact met Olex uit Oekraïne. Olex doet promotie voor Rhian, een 🏳️‍🌈 LGBTQ+ artiest die het nummer “Dopamine” heeft gemaakt. Pidi is een groot 😍 fan van dit nummer, maar dat terzijde. Tijdens onze communicatie werd duidelijk dat Olex, ook bekend als de Oekraïense DJ en radiopresentator Mr. Sunny, bij het radiostation KISS FM werkt. KISS FM is een station dat, net als Pidi Radio, een EDM (Electronic Dance Music) format uitzendt. Uit onze gesprekken bleek al snel dat het niet makkelijk is om het radiostation in de lucht te houden 😤, maar dat muziek hen overeind houdt👏.

Bijzonder is het daarom dat, ondanks de situatie in Oekraïne, Mr. Sunny zijn uitzendingen dagelijks verzorgt en daarnaast toch nog leuk vindt om voor Pidi Radio een speciale radiomix te maken. Pidi is daarom extra vereerd om 🫵zaterdag a.s. om 20:00 uur (21:00 Kyiv tijd) zijn mix uit te zenden🙏. Je kunt luisteren via Pidiradio.nl of de gratis app downloaden in jouw favoriete store.

Our communications quickly made it clear that it is not easy to keep the radio station on the air 😤, but that music keeps them afloat👏.

It is therefore special that despite the situation in Ukraine, Mr Sunny broadcasts daily and still enjoys making a special radio mix for Pidi Radio.
